The Green Line
by Makram Ayache August 15-25, 2019 As part of the 2019 Edmonton Fringe Festival Shortlisted for 2019 Alberta Playwriting Competition Synopsis: The Green Line follows the story of two women falling in love under the tumult of the Lebanese Civil war and two men meeting for the first time in the hidden recesses of the queer Beiruti nightlife. At its heart, the play is a contemplation of how memories are inherited or erased. We would like to thank the Canada Council for the Arts for their generous support on this project. We also extend our gratitude to Buddies In Bad Times Theatre for supporting the first development showing of this project at the 40th Rhubarb Festival. Previous Development:
