by Makram Ayache
June 6-10, 2017

Harun premiered at the Ignite! Festival for Emerging Artists 2017 at the Pumphouse Theatre in Calgary, AB.

Synopsis: As Harun and his friend's finalize preparations for a protest against a major pipeline project, Harun is struck with a prophecy.  A dystopian future awaits him, and a masked Angel says "Listen to the answer from the highest of holies...should you fail, this is the future you inherit."  Reality blurs with spiritual revelation in this tale of an immigrant Arab-Canadian navigating his sexuality in Canada.

When: June 6, 8:15pm, June 8, 8:15pm, June 10, 7:00pm.
Where: Calgary, AB, Pumphouse Theatre, Joyce Doolittle
