An Unrehearsed Reading of a Brand New Play!
Started by Sarah Culkin in 2016 as a way to kickstart new work by young creatives, PUPAL STAGE was hosted monthly in her home/performance space the fourt between 2016-2017. Plays at any stage of development are read aloud in front of an intimate audience as a process of collective dramaturgy, processional joy-taking, and a chance to make a thing!
PUPAL STAGE went on hiatus between summer-winter of 2017 while Sarah relocated to Montreal, but beginning in February 2018, Andrea Ruschin has taken up the mantel of host! New readers are selected every month, from a variety of creative communities in Edmonton. Tea is always served.
If you are interested in reading for PUPAL STAGE, or having your play read, please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org!
If you're interested in attending the next reading (and you totally should) stay tuned to the In Arms facebook page, where we share the monthly events!
